    1896 Racial Segregation

Did you know that in 1896 Racial Segregation was upheld by the Supreme Court in a 7 to 1 vote in the Plessy v. Ferguson Case?  This vote was supported by members of the Klu Klux Klan.

Did you also know that the court supported the The Klu Klux Klan from 1915-1944 in its segregation of Blacks, Jews, Roman Catholics, and Labor Unions? The Klan had 6 million member’s.  Communities and actual camps were formed for separate but equal living.  These members enforced discrimination of interracial relationships and segregation of minorities for over 40 years as active members in Government.

Do you think this is okay?  Today most couldn’t comprehend living in a city where Blacks or Asians had to live in camps and couldn’t participate with equal rights.  Where you could be murdered for being Catholic or Jewish.

I can’t imagine it today, new minorities are forming - the Gay community is the next victim of segregation.
